The plain-language terms that accompany every booking.

Booking & payment
A date is held once the signed contract and a [25%] booking fee are received; the fee is deducted from the total. The balance is due [one month] before the wedding, in one payment or in instalments agreed in advance. Only one wedding is taken per weekend.
Cancellation & rescheduling
The booking fee is non-refundable, as the date has been reserved for you. If you move the date and the studio is available, everything transfers as it is. If the studio must cancel for reasons within its control, all payments are returned in full and reasonable help is given to find a replacement photographer.
Delivery
A preview follows within [48 hours], the full edited gallery within [six weeks], and albums within [four months] of design approval. Timescales are commitments of care, not of haste.
Copyright & your licence
Copyright in the photographs remains with the studio, as the law provides. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to print, share and reproduce your images without limit. The studio shows selected images publicly only with the permission you give in the contract — and you may withdraw it at any time.
Creative judgement
You are booking a photographer for their eye. Composition, editing and selection are at the studio’s professional discretion, and raw files are not supplied — an unfinished photograph is not the work.
Meals, breaks & conditions
For coverage over [six hours], a hot meal is provided at the same time guests eat. The studio may pause coverage where conditions are unsafe, and follows venue rules on where a photographer may stand.
Liability
Every photograph is written to two cards as it is taken and backed up the same night. In the unlikely event of a failure beyond reasonable control, liability is limited to the fees paid. Public liability and professional indemnity insurance are held; certificates are available to venues on request.
